It can make you feel like the weight of your world is solely on your shoulders. Here’s how to combat that suffocating feeling and reset. Braindump your entire to do list [06:22] Braindumps are your first step to relief. Combine all of your to-do lists items in one place. It’s hard to compartmentalize your life when the expectations are always there, so don’t worry about your work list, kid list, business list – put it all in one place. When we can see it all in front of us, it makes it easier to take stock of what’s really happening. What is the season that you are in, right now? [08:13] Evaluate the season of life that you are in. This will help you figure out what matters most to you and where your priorities lie. With your season of life in mind and looking at the to-do list, figure out: what can you eliminate? What can you delegate? Where can you ask for more help? What can you push off? What stuff is not important, right now? In different seasons of life, move things on and off of your plate to help stay focused and be able to breathe day to day. Take Action  [10:38] Action is the key to overwhelm. Take action on the simplest things. This proves to yourself that you can do this! Do the easiest steps first; once you’re in motion, everything else will feel much more manageable. Create space to quiet your mind [11:57] Overwhelm is also caused by a lack of pause in your day. For at least 5 minutes a day, get in the car and drive in silence. The silence curates the space to notice your thoughts. Let each one come and go–don’t judge the thoughts, don’t try to fix anything. Silence makes room for your intuition and creativity. We have to turn down the volume in our heads, so we can actually hear ourselves. Closing [14:44] Burnout and overwhelm may be a part of your everyday life, but it doesn't have to be! Intro [01:44]

Let’s Talk about Overwhelm [03:11]

Overwhelm starts in your mind, affects your body and spirals out of control! It can make you feel like the weight of your world is solely on your shoulders. Here’s how to combat that suffocating feeling and reset.

Braindump your entire to do list [06:22]

Braindumps are your first step to relief.

Evaluate the season of life that you are in.

Take Action  [10:38]

Action is the key to overwhelm. Take action on the simplest things. This proves to yourself that you can do this! Do the easiest steps first; once you’re in motion, everything else will feel much more manageable.

Create space to quiet your mind [11:57]

Overwhelm is also caused by a lack of pause in your day.

Closing [14:44]

Burnout and overwhelm may be a part of your everyday life, but it doesn't have to be! Here are five action steps that helped me crawl my way out of the weeds of life and into building the life I wanted and knew I deserved. Eliminate overwhelm in life AND law, now!
